There are two things I have a hard time saying no to: a good cause and a good time. That’s why, when Stephanie from The Hunger Network approached me to fill me in on two great upcoming Hunger Network events, I jumped at the chance to spread the word.
The Hunger Network is the largest direct emergency food provider in Cuyahoga County, with over 100 food pantries helping to feed over 60,000 people every month. With caring staff and volunteers, the Hunger Network is doing everything it can to combat hunger in CLE, particularly in children. 25,000 of the 60,000 served monthly by The Hunger Network are children.
Jason Handman from 19 Action News!

And…yours truly and (hopefully) Alicia from Poise in Parma!
So, if helping out the Hunger Network, winning prizes, and scoring a great deal on tickets to Rolling on the River isn’t enough for you…there’s the chance to see me attempt bartending (and apparently be considered a celebrity)! Plus, I’ll tell you what side I’m on in the Eddy’s/Iggy’s rivalry!
Hope to see you all on September 15 for the Friends of the Hunger Network Celebrity Bartender Happy Hour. And, as I said, stay tuned to Why CLE? for more scoop on Rolling on the River!
***Disclosure: I was contacted by Stephanie from The Hunger Network and asked to promote both the Celebrity Bartender Happy Hour and Rolling on the River. In exchange, I receive 2 tickets to Rolling on the River for myself and 2 tickets to give away to a Why CLE? reader. As always, the opinions in this post are 100% my own.***
