With buying a new home, CLEguy and I are thinking a lot about projects and decorating around the house. It’s always fun to spruce things up or give it your own personal touch!
That’s why the Great Big Home and Garden Show at the IX Center is coming at the perfect time. From February 4-12, the IX Center will be filled with over 650 exhibitors with tips and inspiration for home improvement, gardening and more.
The show will feature events such as:
“Product Runway,” a collaboration between Architectural Justice and the Virginia Marti College of Art Design, showcasing fashion inspired by architecture.
Two Idea homes, including an eco-friendly house and a log cabin being built by Timeless Timbers at the show.
Gardens designed after classic TV shows and a gardening stage from Petitti Garden Centers.
A cooking stage featuring the Loretta Paginini School of Cooking and Chef Rocco Whalen of Fahrenheit.
Appearances by HGTV and Lifetime stars Chip Wade of “Designed to Sell” and “Curb Appeal,” Brian Beaumler of “Disaster DIY,” and Christopher Straub of “Project Runway.”
So, if you’re ready to get inspired for your next home or garden project, you need to get to the IX Center between February 4 and 12. Tickets are $14 at the door for adults, but buying your tickets online before the show will save you $3.
For an extra $1 savings, enter the Why CLE? discount code of CLE when you check out. That means your ticket is only $10! Click here to buy tickets.
I also have 2 tickets good for general admission any day of the show to give away to a lucky Why CLE? reader! The contest will run until Sunday, January 22 at 11:59pm and the winner will be announced here on Monday, January 23. Here’s how to enter:
1. Leave a comment telling me what project around your home or garden you’re hoping to undertake this year.
3. Twitter users can get an extra entry every day for tweeting:
I’m in a DIY mood! I want to win tickets to the CLE @homeshows from @WhyCLE: http://wp.me/p1fb9r-wp
Make sure to leave a comment each time you tweet.
***Disclosure: I was asked by the Great Big Home and Garden Show to promote the upcoming event at the IX Center. In exchange, I receive 2 general admission tickets for myself and 2 to give away to a reader. As always, all opinions are 100% my own.***
