***A bit of blogkeeping: Today is your last chance to enter to win tickets to Taste of the Browns! Remember, you can tweet daily for additional entries. Check it out!***
You gotta love people who use star power to help good causes. Celebrity chef and hometown-proud Clevelander Michael Symon is doing just that with the Cleveland Chef’s Gala to benefit Autism Speaks.

Taking place at the Cuyahoga Community College Hospitality Management Center on Saturday, August 10, this event features silent and live auctions, as well as a tasting menu prepared by some of Cleveland’s finest chefs.
The chefs who will be preparing food at this event are:
Chef Michael Symon of Lola, Lolita, B Spot Burgers, Roast; Chef Rocco Whalen of Fahrenheit, Rosie & Rocco’s; Chef Eric Williams of Momocho, El Carnicero; Chef Chris Hodgson of Hodge’s; Chef Brian Doyle of Sow Food, Beachland Ballroom; Chef Jonathon Sawyer of The Greenhouse Tavern, Noodlecat; Chef Matt Mytro of Flour; Chef Brandt Evans of Pura Vida, Blue Canyon; Chef Jonathan Bennett of Red the Steakhouse, Moxie; Chef Britt-Marie Culey of Coquette Patisserie; and Chef John Selik of Univeristy Hospitals Ahuja Medical Center.
The Cleveland Chef’s Gala raises money and awareness for Autism Speaks, which seeks to better understand and find a cure for autism and autism spectrum disorders.

The inaugural Cleveland Chef’s Gala is sold out, but you can enter to win two tickets right here! Here’s how to enter: you can do one, two, three, or all four entries, just leave a separate comment for each entry.
1. Leave a comment letting me know which chef’s food you’re most excited to taste at the Cleveland Chef’s Gala.
2. Leave a comment if you like Autism Speaks and Why CLE? on Facebook, letting me know you like both pages. If you don’t yet, you can like Autism Speaks here and Why CLE? here.
3. Follow @clevelandautism and @WhyCLE on Twitter and leave a comment letting me know you’re following both.
4. Tweet the following phrase and leave a comment letting me know you tweeted:
I want to dine with @chefsymon and friends to benefit @clevelandautism thanks to @WhyCLE: http://wp.me/p1fb9r-1DT
You can tweet once per day for additional entries, just leave a separate comment each time you tweet.
The giveaway will close on Thursday, August 8 at 11:59pm and the winner will be announced the following day. Good luck!
***Disclosure: I was asked by Autism Speaks to help promote the Cleveland Chef’s Gala. In exchange, I was offered two tickets for myself and two tickets to give away. I declined my tickets due to scheduling conflicts. As always, all opinions are 100% my own.***
