***A bit of blogkeeping: Have you entered to win tickets to Locavore? Check it out! Remember, you can tweet daily for additional entries.***
Cleveland is a football town. Perhaps more than any other sport, we rally around our Cleveland Browns year after year.
I can distinctly remember game watch parties as a kid, eating orange and brown dog bone-shaped cookies. Do you remember those?
I can remember meeting players like Hanford Dixon and Clay Matthews at training camp. I still have the football they signed.
And don’t even get me started on the tailgating and the endless The Pit versus The Muni Lot debate.
We’re a Browns town through and through. The Cleveland Browns want to celebrate that and show the nation why the home-field advantage lies with Cleveland with Paint the Town Browns. Leading up to the home opener on September 8, there will be a week of activities meant to honor the fans and to get everyone excited for this season.
Stay tuned to the Paint the Town Browns website, as well as this blog and my Twitter and Facebook feeds for updates on each day’s special events and giveaways.
To kick things off, I’m giving away two tickets to watch your Cleveland Browns take on the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, September 29. This is always one of the most anticipated games of the season!
Here’s how to enter: you can do one, two, three or all four entries, just leave a separate comment for each.
1. Leave a comment telling me your favorite Browns player, past or present.
4. Tweet the following phrase and leave a comment letting me know you tweeted:
I want to Paint the Town Browns at the Browns-Bengals game thanks to @browns and @WhyCLE: http://wp.me/p1fb9r-1G2 #WeAreCleveland
You can tweet once per day for additional entries, just leave a separate comment each time you tweet.
The giveaway will close on Wednesday, September 4 at 11:59pm and the winner will be announced the following day. Good luck and Go Browns!
***Disclosure: I was asked by the Cleveland Browns to help promote Paint the Town Browns. In exchange, I will receive Browns merchandise for myself and 2 tickets to the Browns-Bengals game to give away. As always, all opinions and cookie nostalgia are 100% my own.***
