Why? Weekends!

And now for the rest of the weekend…Friday night, Matthew and I met up with our friends Katie and Jeff at the MIX: Form happy hour at the Cleveland Museum of Art.

It was the perfect night to be out on the Museum’s terrace! And it was great to see how many people chose to spend their Friday evening at one of Cleveland’s true cultural gems.

There were drinks, light snacks, live music from MOKAAD, and demonstrations involving origami. I even made a butterfly!

The MIX happy hours continue every first Friday of the month, each with a different theme. The next one is MIX: Muse on Friday, October 4 and tickets are only $8 in advance. Check it out!

From there, Matthew and I headed up Cedar hill and grabbed dinner at The Mad Greek, which has both Greek and Indian selections. They have an adorable patio in the back, where we enjoyed Apollo chicken for Matthew, with orzo, feta, olives, and spinach, and pumpkin curry for me.

Pro-tip: if you like spicy, the medium-hot level will give you a good bit of heat, without being too crazy hot. We of course finished our meal off with some sticky sweet baklava. It was a lovely Friday evening!

On Sunday, we attended a birthday party for one of our nieces at the YMCA. From tumbling around the gymnastics center:

My weekend is always vastly improved with a little niece time!

How was your weekend?

***Disclosure: I was asked by the Cleveland Museum of Art to help promote MIX: Form. In exchange, I received 2 complimentary tickets to the event. As always, all opinions are 100% my own.***
