Why? Creekside Restaurant!

Last night, I met up with my lovely sister-in-law Elizabeth for dinner at one of my favorite south suburb spots: Creekside Restaurant and Bar in Brecksville. Creekside has a great, diverse menu with pastas, burgers, steaks, pizzas, and lots more!

I chose a make-your-own pizza (although their specialty pies are great too) with marinara sauce, cheese, mushrooms, and banana peppers.

IMG_7421Elizabeth chose one of my long-standing favorites: the honey-pecan chicken, which has a lightly breaded chicken breast covered with a sweet honey pecan sauce, served with redskin mashed potatoes.

IMG_7423The best part about eating at Creekside, though, is the desserts! Their decadent dessert case tempts you from the moment you walk in.

IMG_7425Elizabeth and I each had the classic cannoli, but there are plenty of other options, such as cheesecakes, tortes, and the very seasonally appropriate pumpkin cannoli, for all you pumpkin fanatics.

IMG_7424Creekside has great daily specials, such as $5.55 martinis on Thursday (many made with their infused vodka made in-house); App & Tap Wednesdays, with $2 off all appetizers and draft beers; and $10 beer and burger combo on Saturdays.

Next time you’re in the southern suburbs, check out Creekside for a delicious meal and be sure to save room for something sweet!
