Why? JCU Alumni Events!

If you’re a John Carroll University alumni, this post is for you! There are a lot of fun summer events planned to help you stay connected to other alumni and to the school.

Reunion Weekend is next weekend, June 17-19. If you graduated in a year ending with 1 or 6, there is a weekend’s worth of fun events planned, from speakers to rum tastings to a Mass and brunch.

Even if it’s not your reunion year, there are events open to all alumni. On Friday, June 17, come to the “No Time for a Siesta, It’s Time for a Fiesta” dinner on campus, starting at 6:30pm. Tickets are $30 and include an evening of food, drink, and live entertainment.

On Saturday, June 18, my dear friend Alicia will lead a free all-levels yoga class on the main quad at 10am, followed by a complimentary juice bar. And on Sunday, June 19, there is a special Father’s Day Mass and brunch on campus. Click here to register for any of these events.

On Thursday, July 7, join the John Carroll University Cleveland Alumni Chapter for a happy hour at Beerhead Bar and Eatery in the Flats. There will be complimentary appetizers, a cash bar, and a chance to hang out in one of the hottest Cleveland neighborhoods! Click here to register.

Then on Saturday, July 30, join your fellow Blue Streaks as we cheer on the Cleveland Indians versus the Oakland A’s. This game is Jim Thome Hall of Fame Induction Night, with a special bobblehead giveaway and post-game fireworks. Tickets are $22.50 and can be purchased here.

I hope to see you at one (or many) of these fun summertime events! Onward On!
