Why? Outdoor Play Dates!

It’s officially summer and, as is typical of any Clevelander, I want to be outside as much as possible during these all-too-brief beautiful months. So, I thought I’d share some of our favorite outdoor play date options for sunshiny fun with your little ones.

Memphis Kiddie Park

Hours: Weekdays 10am-6pm, Weekends 10am-9pm. Click here for hours on specific dates.

Cost: $2.25 per ticket for rides or you can buy a book of 10 tickets for $20 or a book of 25 tickets plus coupons for $33.

What Jeffrey loves: All the rides that are just his size!

What I love: Memphis Kiddie Park is just the right size for kids, it’s affordable, and the people who run the rides are so sweet. Plus, I remember going there as a kid (and my mom remembers going there when she was a kid, too)!

Preston’s H.O.P.E. Playground Park

Hours: Daily, 8am-9pm

Cost: Free! But you can and should make a donation to help maintain the park here.

What Jeffrey loves: The swings! The slides! The sandbox! The train! The dinosaurs!

What I love: It’s a gorgeous, well-maintained playground with a ton of fun options. Plus, the mission of making a playground that is accessible to all children, including those with disabilities, is great.
