Why? Luna Bakery & Café!

I’m having a moment with Cleveland Heights. From recent stops at The Wine Spot and CLE Urban Winery to my addiction to On the Rise, I’ve found some great places in the Heights.

Yesterday morning, I found myself at Luna Bakery & Café in search of a place to do some work and have a bit of breakfast. I’ve been to Luna sporadically and am always impressed by the selection of sweets, breads, and baked goods filling their cases.

From a hazelnut pot de crème to macarons to adorable sugar cookies, the sweets all looked so tempting. And the croissants, muffins, and breads smelled so delicious!

But it was the crepes that tempted me yesterday. I chose one with caramelized apples, pecans, caramel, and crème fraiche.

It was heavenly! Sweet and delicious, the apples still retained a bit of crunch, the pecans provided nice texture, and the crepe was thin and chewy, as a crepe should be. Paired with a chai latte, it was the perfect breakfast!

Luna offers lots of breakfast options, such as egg dishes, paninis, and (my next must-try item) avocado toast. They also have sweet and savory crepes and paninis, as well as salads. And keep them in mind for your special occasions too…Matthew and I did a cake tasting there before our wedding! For delicious food in a cute, cozy café atmosphere, look no further than Luna!
