The newest centerpiece of summer fun in Cleveland opens tomorrow (Friday, June 2) and it is incredible! Of course, I’m talking about the new Cleveland Metroparks Edgewater Beach House.
The brand new Beach House is an expansive 12,000 square foot two-story structure with beautiful views of both Lake Erie…
…and downtown Cleveland.
The second story is open-air and features a dual-sided outdoor fireplace, seasonal bar, and comfortable seating for enjoying the views and a summer sipper.
The Edgewater Beach House also has an open-air grove with trees, sand, picnic tables, and swings; an elevated walkway that connects the Beach House to the nearby Detroit Shoreway neighborhood; expanded changing and shower areas; and an updated and improved concession area, with tasty options like chicken quesadilla, turkey Rueben sandwiches, pierogi, and even a specially-created Cleveland Metroparks Centennial ice cream flavor from Honey Hut Ice Cream.
The Centennial Plaza (pictured above with the Cleveland Metroparks seal) overlooks the beach and is the perfect spot for live music and special events, such as Edgewater Live, a free summer concert series at Edgewater Beach.
The Cleveland Metroparks has made amazing improvements to Edgewater Beach and the stunning new Beach House is another fabulous way to enjoy our great lake and magnificent beach front!
***Disclosure: I was invited to attend a preview of the Cleveland Metroparks Edgewater Beach House. As always, all opinions are 100% my own.***
