Why? Brio Coastal Bar and Kitchen!

Last week, Matthew, Jeffrey, and I got to check out the newly redesigned Brio Coastal Bar and Kitchen at Legacy Village. The new restaurant concept combines the Brio and Bravo menu items you love with a bright, coastal interior style.

Feeling the coastal vibes, I started with a seasonal Blackberry Fizz cocktail which was sweet summery perfection!

We got an expansive taste of the delicious menu items and were thoroughly impressed with everything we tried! We started with the bruschetta sampler, with roasted red pepper, spicy shrimp, and steak bruschetta.


Matthew loved the roasted red pepper and I enjoyed the spicy shrimp the most!

Next up, we got to try two different salads: the Della Casa, with chopped greens, cucumber, tomato, bacon, crispy pasta, and creamy Parmesan and the Coastal Salad, with tomato, grilled corn, cucumber, smoked Gouda, Marcona almonds, avocado, lemon vinaigrette, and chili lime ranch.

Both salads were so fresh and seasonal, with lots of great texture!

We then got to sample three amazing entrees (and take lots home with us, obviously)! The chicken limone with lemon, capers, roasted vegetables, and Yukon Gold mashers was delicious, with lots of delicate flavor.


The salmon fresca, a seasonal offering, came with grilled asparagus, sweet potato, spinach, red pepper, pesto vinaigrette, Feta, tomato, and balsamic glaze. You’d never believe this delicious dish is also a “light” menu item!

And the classic chicken parmesan was bursting with all the Italian goodness you’ve come to expect from Brio!


Speaking of classic goodness, Jeffrey munched his way through half of this gigantic and yummy cheese pizza off the kids’ menu!


For dessert, we managed to find room to devour a classic crème brulee, which was the perfect end to a fabulous meal.
