Why? FRONT International!

Cleveland has a booming arts and culture scene, which will only be enhanced this summer with FRONT International: Cleveland Triennial for Contemporary Art.

“An American City: Eleven Cultural Exercises” in collaboration with museums, civic institutions, and alternative spaces across Cleveland, Akron and Oberlin, will showcase an ambitious roster of projects, including performance and theater. With a roster of national, international and area-based artists at all points in their career, FRONT will examine the ever-changing and politically urgent conditions of an American city.

FRONT International’s venues include the Cleveland Museum of Art, Akron Art Museum, Cleveland Public Library, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, West Side Market, Playhouse Square, Oberlin College, and Case Western Reserve University.

There will be events ranging from an Opening Gala to info sessions and lectures throughout FRONT’s exhibition.

There will also be three new public art installations as part of FRONT, which you can read more about here.
