Why? L’Amour du Vin Giveaway!

If you read this blog, you know that I love me a good glass of wine. So, a fundraiser called L’Amour du Vin sounded right up my alley. Add to it that it supports the Arthritis Foundation of Northeastern Ohio and you have the makings of a great event.

L’Amour du Vin is the “premier wine and food tasting event” in Cleveland’s western suburbs. Taking place on Thursday, October 18 at the lovely Avon Oaks Country Club, the event combines food, wine, a silent auction, live music from Oberlin College Conservatory of Music’s Jazz Ensemble, and a wine bottle raffle!

The main ballroom at L’Amour du Vin will feature tasting stations giving you everything from hummus to pork belly, from kolacki to chocolate fondue. The following fabulous restaurants will be serving up delicious treats:

87 West at Crocker Park

Aladdin’s Eatery

AMP 150 Restaurant and Bar

Avon Oaks Country Club

Catherine’s Chocolates

Gatherings Kitchen

Kiedrowski’s Simply Delicious Bakery

Legacy Restaurant and Grille

The Melting Pot

Oberlin Inn

Whistlestop Restaurant

Wood and Wine

And if that’s not enough, the VIP room will feature exclusive samples from The Wood Fire Grille and Flavor the Town Catering.

L’Amour du Vin, presented by EMH Healthcare, is sure to be a night you don’t want to miss. Proceeds benefit the Arthritis Foundation of Northeastern Ohio, which helps to ease the burden of the more than 1.5 million people in our area suffering with arthritis. Tickets are $60 for general admission and $90 for VIP admission. You can purchase tickets by clicking here.

Or…you can enter for a chance to win 2 general admission tickets. Here’s how to enter (please leave a SEPARATE comment for each entry):

  1. I discovered Flavor the Town at last year’s event, so this event is a good one to try new places. But I’d have to say Gatherings Kitchen because I love Ruth and their Friday Supper Club!

  2. Michele Lavecchia

Flavor the Town Catering, just because I want to see another caterer’s food.
Would love to win since I will be at the event (volunteering) however, Todd’s parents are in for the week and would love to take them.

L’Amour du Vin restaurant I most want to try is a three way tie because I love food and can’t pick one! My top three are:
    1) The Melting Pot
    2) Catherine’s Chocolate’s
    3) Wood and Wine
All the restaurants sound amazing, and would love the chance to feast on all of them. The three I picked I haven’t been too and based on their websites, and the fact that it’s almost lunch time, I am already salivating!

  4. This is sure to be a successful fundraiser, few people can resist gourmet cuisine and fine wine. I have wanted to try Wood and Wine for awhile because nothing taste better than pizza or pasta with a glass or two of good wine.
