The beautiful Windows on the River transforms into a casino for a cause on Friday, October 5. There will be food, wine, beer, live music from Frank, Dean and Then Some, a silent auction, and more! Why Stay Cleveland, a group dedicated to keeping young professionals in the Cleveland area, is sponsoring a Why Stay Conference, with sessions on Work, Play, and Stay. You will work together throughout the day with other young professionals to figure out ways to entice YP’s to stay in Cleveland, focusing on the areas of Work, Play, and Stay. Museum of Contemporary Art Cleveland
Come celebrate the grand opening of the new MOCA Cleveland building with a three-part party: Bewitched, Bewildered, and Beguiled. There will be music, food, a chance to mingle with artists and see the opening exhibitions, and much more. Tickets for Bewitched, starting at 6pm, are sold out, but there are tickets left for Bewildered, starting at 8pm, for $75; and tickets for Beguiled, starting at 10pm, for $25. The West Side Market and West 25th Street
As part of the ongoing West Side Market Centennial Celebration, there will be a street festival and parade, with plenty of food and fun for all ages. Gates open at 11am, the parade steps off at noon, and the fun continues until 8pm. The Market will be open for shopping, plus the Ohio City restaurants will have food and beer gardens set up. Tremont West Development Corporation is sponsoring a friendly competition among chefs from Dante, Lolita, Fahrenheit, and Fat Cats in the first-ever Steelyard Chef contest.
