I’m only a dog mom and even I tend to be a bit crazy sometimes. So, I give so much credit to all those hard-working moms out there! You deserve some time for yourself and a chance to laugh and have a great time with those who truly understand you. Well, I have the event for you!
Jill Smokler, author of “Motherhood Comes Naturally (And Other Vicious Lies),” and self-proclaimed Scary Mommy is coming to Cleveland as part of her national book tour.

You may remember awhile back, Cleveland was in the running to be the final stop on the book tour. Well, we came in second, but we so impressed Scary Mommy that she wanted to come to CLE anyway!
On Sunday, June 30, Jill will be at LaunchHouse in Shaker Heights for a chat and book signing. It’ll be confessional and hilarious and supportive, all at once!

Tickets are $36 for the Patron Reception and $18 for general admission, both of which include a hardcover copy of the book. If you already own the book, admission is just $8. All proceeds from the event benefit The Agnon School. Tickets can be purchased online.
Or you can enter to win two general admission tickets (book not included) right here! Here’s how to enter: you can do one, two, or all three entries, just leave a SEPARATE comment for each entry.
1. Leave a comment telling me about one of your own Scary Mommy moment.
2. Follow @ScaryMommy and @WhyCLE on Twitter and leave a comment letting me know you’re following.
3. Tweet the following phrase and leave a comment letting me know you tweeted:
I want an afternoon out with @ScaryMommy thanks to @WhyCLE: http://wp.me/p1fb9r-1zb
You can tweet once per day for additional entries, just leave a separate comment each time you tweet.
The giveaway will close at 11:59pm on Thursday, June 27 and the winner will be announced the following day. Good luck!
***Disclosure: I was asked to help promote the Scary Mommy event. In exchange, I will receive 2 general admission tickets to give away. I was offered 2 general admission tickets for myself, but declined due to scheduling conflicts. As always, all opinions are 100% my own.***

Let’s see… my own scary mommy moment… hmmmm… kindof everything right now. I just had my third kid and it all seems very scary at the moment!

Scary Mommy moment: the things I find in my one year old’s mouth… a penny, toilet paper, remains of a carrot I have her an hour ago, playdoh… the list goes on and on!
