Why? Bubba’s Q!

When I was a kid, I was super into the Cleveland Browns. One of my favorite players was Al “Bubba” Baker.

So, you can imagine how excited I was meet the legend himself while dining at Bubba’s Q yesterday.

While Al “Bubba” Baker is the namesake behind Bubba’s Q and is very involved with the retail side of the business, Bubba proudly introduced us to his daughter Brittani, who runs the restaurant in Avon.

We were treated like family and got to sample extensively from the Bubba’s Q menu. We started with the decadent Southern Fries, topped with cheese, boneless ribs, and BBQ sauce.

We also tried tasty Burnt Ends of brisket wrapped up in crescent rolls…yum!

Then it was on to the main course: So. Much. Meat. The MVP Platter features half-back ribs, St. Louis ribs, smoked beef brisket, smoked chicken, and pulled pork, along with cole slaw, baked beans, mac ‘n cheese, and cornbread.

We tried some of Bubba’s Q’s patented boneless ribs, which were made famous on “Shark Tank.” Not only are they delicious and tender, but easy to eat, too!

Both the ribs and smoked chicken were packed with flavor that was only enhanced by the tangy, sweet BBQ sauce.

The brisket and pulled pork were both so tender!

And oh, the sides! I could easily make a meal out of the sweet potato fries, super cheesy mac n’ cheese, and delicious cornbread.

Bubba’s Q offers both dine-in and carry out menus, for getting your meat sweats for here or to go. If you dine in this summer, you can check out their awesome patio, with full bar and live music on the weekends!

It was so fun to not only eat some delicious BBQ, but also support a local Browns legend and his awesome family!

***Disclosure: I was invited with a guest to a complimentary tasting dinner at Bubba’s Q. As always, all opinions are 100% my own.***
